About us
A workshop built on patience and craft.
Quartzen is a watch repair and restoration workshop on Beach Road, Pattaya. Small by choice, careful by habit.

How Quartzen came to be
Quartzen started in 2017 when its founder — a horologist trained in Chiang Mai and later in Switzerland — decided to open a small counter on Beach Road rather than take a post at a larger chain. The idea was straightforward: do the work well, explain what you're doing, and charge a fair price for it.
In the years since, the workshop has grown into a familiar stop for residents and visitors around Pattaya. Some come in with a watch that belonged to their grandfather. Others have a daily wearer that's started losing a few minutes each morning. Both get the same level of attention.
The name Quartzen is a nod to the quartz crystal that sits inside most everyday watches — the small, steady thing that keeps everything running. We liked the idea of a name rooted in the mechanics, not the marketing.
Our mission
To give everyday watch owners access to the same level of care that was once reserved for collectors. Good repair work shouldn't require a collector's budget or a trip to the city.
How we work
Every watch that comes through our door gets a proper look before we quote or start. We explain what we find, give a clear price, and don't begin work until you're comfortable with the plan.
Where we are
165 Beach Road, Bang Lamung, Pattaya 20150. Open Monday to Saturday 10:00–19:00 and Sunday 11:00–17:00. Parking is available along the street.

Our standards
How we keep quality consistent
Movement testing
After every service, movements are tested across multiple positions over 24 hours before we consider the job complete.
Water-resistance checks
Resealed watches go through a pressure test to confirm the gaskets are seated correctly before the case is closed.
Quality parts
We source lubricants and replacement parts from established suppliers. No shortcuts with materials, even on lower-cost jobs.
Service records
Every watch is logged on arrival. You leave with a receipt that records what was done and when, useful for future reference.
Secure storage
Watches in our care are kept in a locked storage area. Only members of our team have access while work is in progress.
Clear communication
We contact you if anything unexpected comes up during a service. No surprises on the bill and no unexplained delays.
Watch repair in Pattaya — done properly
Quartzen operates from Beach Road in Bang Lamung, a short walk from the central Pattaya waterfront. The workshop handles mechanical, automatic, and quartz movements — from straightforward battery changes to full strip-down services on older pieces.
The approach here is considered rather than rushed. A watch that has been well looked after lasts considerably longer than one that hasn't, and the cost of a proper service is far lower than the cost of a movement that has worn beyond repair. We aim to give customers a clear sense of where their watch stands and what, if anything, it needs.
Pattaya's international community and steady flow of visitors means we regularly work on watches brought in from across Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond. Our team is comfortable communicating in both Thai and English, and we're happy to answer questions from people who are new to the idea of watch servicing.
