Quartzen
Watchmaker at work

Why Quartzen

What you get when you bring a watch to us.

Not a quick fix or a rushed quote — a considered look at what the watch actually needs, done by people who know what they're looking at.

The difference

Six things that matter

Trained watchmakers

Our team trained in horology, not general electronics repair. There's a meaningful difference in how movements are handled.

Honest diagnosis first

We assess each watch before quoting. You'll hear what we find — including if the answer is "it doesn't need much."

Prices you can see

Each service has a stated price. No vague estimates that expand once the watch is already apart.

12-month service warranty

Complete care work carries a 12-month warranty. If the same issue returns in that time, we address it without extra cost.

24-hour movement testing

After a full service, movements are tested in multiple positions over a full day before we consider the work done.

Plain language, always

We explain what's happening without the jargon. You shouldn't need a watchmaking qualification to understand your own repair.

Professional expertise

Over a decade working with watch movements

Our head watchmaker trained formally in horology and has been servicing mechanical and quartz movements since 2010. That background shapes how we approach every job — from a routine battery change to a full strip and clean.

Experience means knowing when a movement needs intervention and when it doesn't. We won't recommend a full service on a watch that only needs a seal check.

Formal horological training — not self-taught repair
Mechanical, automatic, and quartz movements all handled
Experience with vintage pieces requiring particular care
Team of three dedicated specialists, not one overworked technician

Ultrasonic cleaning for movement components
Timing machine checks on every regulated movement
Pressure testing for water-resistant reseals
Swiss-specification lubricants used at each service point

Tools & process

The right equipment for the job

Watch repair done well requires proper tools. We use an ultrasonic cleaner for movement parts, a timing machine to verify regulation accuracy, and a pressure tester for any resealed case.

Lubricants are sourced from established horological suppliers and applied to manufacturer specification — not guesswork amounts from a general-purpose oil.

Service & value

Clear pricing and straightforward communication

Our three services each have a fixed price. There are no hidden assessment fees and no charges added mid-job without a conversation first. You agree to the cost before we start.

The initial assessment — where we look at what your watch needs — is offered without obligation. If you decide not to proceed, that's fine.

Fixed service prices, published upfront
No-obligation initial assessment
No work begins without your agreement
Service receipt on collection for your records

What sets us apart

What you won't find everywhere

Walk-in strap fitting

Strap changes are handled while you wait, without an appointment. A quick service that most places ask you to leave your watch for.

Two-watch appointments

Our Two-Watch Tune-Up is designed for households with more than one timepiece — covering both in a single visit rather than two separate trips.

English and Thai service

Pattaya's international make-up means we regularly work with customers from across Southeast Asia and Europe. Our team communicates comfortably in both languages.

Documented service records

Every completed service comes with a written record of the work done and the date. Useful for resale value and for tracking a watch's service history over time.
